League of Legend
As the pictures show, today, I will introduce a very hot com*r game. Its name is League of Legends. We usually call it "LOL". This is a multiplayer game developed by “RIOT GAMES” in America, inspired by a popular game——Defense of the Ancients (DOTA),map for Warcraft III. and TENGXUN company is its Chinese agency.
Now, it has been one of the most popular electronic sports game in China. In the game, a player play a role as summoner to summon a hero to fight for him. One of the chief reason why this game is so hot owing to its mass styles heroes. So far ,there are 122 heroes. Every Friday TENGXUN will select 10 heroes for players to play freely. Players will get gold coins after game. They can use these coins to buy permanent heroes. Of course, they also can buy it by RMB. And every hero has several special skins, players only can get them by RMB .
LOL is a team game, players are formed into 2 teams of Champions, 3v3 or 5v5.Each player begins at opposing sides of a map in an area called the Spawning Pool, near what is called a Nexus.
A match is end when either team"s nexus is destroyed.
Maps in LOL are called "Fields of Justice". There are currently four Fields of Justice that the players can choose from: Summoner"s Rift(召唤师峡谷); Twisted Treeline(扭曲丛林); Crystal"s Scar(水晶之痕) and Proving Grounds(试炼之地).
The most classical map that people usually play is " Summoner"s Rift ". 10 players enter a game at the same time. 5 players at purple team, the others at blue team. There are three main roads in the game map. Top road, middle road and bottom road.5 players play different roles in the game.
The first type is “top”who defend the top road. Some of them possesses high defend capability, we usually call "Tank". And others usually possesses a bit high damage and defend capability, we call "Warrior". The second position is "APC (Attack Power Carry)" or "AD", they usually stay at Middle road，APC are wizards and AD are usually Assassin. The bottom road need two heroes to defend. “ADC and Support”， ADC is weak but they can make enormous damage, most of them are long-range heroes. Supports" main responsibility is protect ADC, and hold the whole rhythm. The last position is Jungling. They develop in the Field area. They are the most important position in the early stage because they should help companions to establish advantage by ganking and anti-ganking.
The most important session is team fight. But everyone must have enough money to buy equipments. The main way to get money is Creeps. That is you give the enemy soldiers the last attack. What more , slain the two bosses in the map also can get lots of money and BUFF . The team fight usually occurs when one team want to kill the boss.
Once the team fight break out, everyone is supposed to find the proper position. The top should in front of the team to absorb damage ,the jungle help top absorb damage and to kill the APC or ADC. As supports, they should protect the ADC and create safe environment. APC should slain the most threatening enemy. When one win the team fight ,they can break the enemy defend towers and break their crystal base before the enemy reborn.

i have the answer to a question that we"ve all asked. the question is, why is it that the letter x represents the unknown? now i know we learned that in math class, but now it"s everywhere in the culture -- the x prize, the x-files, project x, tedx. where"d that come from?
about six years ago i decided that i would learn arabic, which turns out to be a supremely logical language. to write a word or a phrase or a sentence in arabic is like crafting an equation, because every part is extremely precise and carries a lot of information. that"s one of the reasons so much of what we"ve come to think of as western science and mathematics and engineering was really worked out in the first few centuries of the common era by the persians and the arabs and the turks.
this includes the little system in arabic called al-jebra. and al-jebr roughly translates to “the system for reconciling disparate parts.“ al-jebr finally came into english as algebra. one example among many.
the arabic texts containing this mathematical wisdom finally made their way to europe -- which is to say spain -- in the 11th and 12th centuries. and when they arrived there was tremendous interest in translating this wisdom into a european language.
but there were problems. one problem is there are some sounds in arabic that just don"t make it through a european voice box without lots of practice. trust me on that one. also, those very sounds tend not to be represented by the characters that are available in european languages.
here"s one of the culprits. this is the letter sheen, and it makes the sound we think of as sh -- “sh.“ it"s also the very first letter of the word shalan, which means “something“ just like the the english word “something“ -- some undefined, unknown thing.
now in arabic, we can make this definite by adding the definite article “al.“ so this is al-shalan -- the unknown thing. and this is a word that appears throughout early mathematics, such as this 10th century derivation of proofs.
the problem for the medieval spanish scholars who were tasked with translating this material is that the letter sheen and the word shalan can"t be rendered into spanish because spanish doesn"t have that sh, that “sh“ sound. so by convention, they created a rule in which they borrowed the ck sound, “ck“ sound, from the classical greek in the form of the letter kai.
later when this material was translated into a common european language, which is to say latin, they sim* replaced the greek kai with the latin x. and once that happened, once this material was in latin, it formed the basis for mathematics textbooks for almost 600 years.
but now we have the answer to our question. why is it that x is the unknown? x is the unknown because you can"t say “sh“ in spanish. (laughter) and i thought that was worth sharing.

It’s the royal garden for the emperors and empresses of the Qing Dynasty to pass the hot summers.

At the same time, during the journey of moving from one place of interest to another, we won’t miss having a glance of Beijing’s modern civilization. 自工作以来，我一直兢兢业业，勤奋工作，所教科目成绩一直据全镇前列，特别是近几年来从事小学英语教学，所教班级多次获得全镇第一名，个人也多次被评为镇教育先进工作者、优秀教师，区优秀教师，个人年考核优秀等次的荣誉称号，并有多篇论文在市级报纸发表。

二、春节的习俗
1、腊月二十三 祭灶
我国春节，一般是从祭灶揭开序幕的。祭灶，是一项在我国民间影响很大、流传极广的习俗。旧时，差不多家家灶间都设有“灶王爷”神位。
2、腊月二十四 扫尘
“腊月二十四，掸尘扫房子” ，据《吕氏春秋》记载，我国在尧舜时代就有春节扫尘的风俗。按民间的说法：因“尘”与“陈”谐音，新春扫尘有“除陈布新”的涵义，其用意是要把一切穷运、晦气统统扫出门。这一习俗寄托着人们破旧立新的愿望和辞旧迎新的祈求。 每逢春节来临，家家户户都要打扫环境，清洗各种器具，拆洗被褥窗帘，洒扫
六闾庭院，掸拂尘垢蛛网，疏浚明渠暗沟。到处洋溢着欢欢喜喜搞卫生、干干净净迎新春的欢乐气氛。
3、腊月二十五 接玉皇
旧俗认为灶神上天后，天帝玉皇于农历十二月二十五日亲自下界,查察人间善恶，并定来年祸福，所以家家祭之以祈福，称为“接玉皇”。这一天起居、言语都要谨慎，争取好表现，以博取玉皇欢心，降福来年。
4、腊月二十七、二十八 洗浴
传统民俗中在这两天要集中地洗澡、洗衣，除去一年的晦气，准备迎接来年的新春，京城有"二十七洗疚疾，二十八洗邋遢"的谚语。腊月二十六洗浴为“洗福禄”。
5、腊月三十除夕 贴门神、贴春联、守岁、爆竹、吃年夜饭、给压岁钱、祭祖
除夕的意思是“月穷岁尽”，人们都要除旧部新，有旧岁至此而除，来年另换新岁的意思，是农历全年最后的一个晚上。故此期间的活动都围绕着除旧部新，消灾祈福为中心。
春联、贴福字、贴窗花、贴年画、贴挂千。这些都具有祈福、装点居所的民俗功能。反映了人民大众的风俗和信仰，寄托着人们对未来的希望。
守岁，我国民间在除夕有守岁的习惯，俗名“熬年”。守岁从吃年夜饭开始，这顿年夜饭要慢慢地吃，从掌灯时分入席，有的人家一直要吃到深夜。守岁的习俗，既有对如水逝去的岁月含惜别留恋之情，又有
对来临的新年寄以美好希望之意。
爆竹，*民间有“开门爆竹”一说。即在新的一年到来之际，家家户户开门的第一件事就是燃放爆竹，以哔哔叭叭的爆竹声除旧迎新。爆竹是*特产，其起源很早，至今已有两千多年的历史。放爆竹可以创造出喜庆热闹的气氛，是节日的一种娱乐活动，可以给人们带来欢愉和吉利。王安石的《元日》诗：

在古代的农业社会里，大约自腊月初八以后，家庭主妇们就要忙着张罗过年的食品了。因为腌制腊味所需的时间较长，所以必须尽早准备，蒸年糕，年糕因为谐音“年高”，再加上有着变化多端的口味，几乎成了家家必备的应景食品。年糕的式样有方块状的黄、白年糕，象征着黄金、白银，寄寓新年发财的意思。年糕的口味因地而异。
饺子，北方年夜饭有吃饺子的传统，但各地吃饺子的习俗亦不相同，有的地方除夕之夜吃饺子，有的地方初一吃饺子，吃饺子是表达人们辞旧迎新之际祈福求吉愿望的特有方式。饺子就意味着更岁交子，过春节吃饺子被认为是大吉大利。另外饺子形状像元宝，包饺子意味着包住福运，吃饺子象征生活富裕。
